NSCA registered shoot

Good Evening Everyone,

After much consideration due to the current public health situation, we have decided to move forward with our scheduled June 6th NSCA registered shoot. We will change some procedures to minimize risk to shooters and volunteers, but we will hold the event. One of our primary points of contact during shoots is registration, so we are asking that people preregister, including payment. You can email to reserve your start time, but we ask that you mail payment within a week to confirm. We will not process your payment until after the shoot, so if you are later unable to make it, we'll just shred your check. We will also have staging areas designated for the day of the shoot to minimize congregating of large groups in any one area. We are also considering scoresheet procedures. We will keep everyone up to date if procedures change, but we will do what we can to keep everyone safe. The rest will be up to you. We should all be used to masks, social distancing, etc. by now.

As for the shoot... We will shoot 100 targets on 2 fields, as we have at other events. Targets and punches will be registered with NSCA, but you do not need to be an NSCA member or competitive shooter to participate. Hunter class shooters are welcome. Registration form attached.

Please let me know if you have any questions. We hope to see you on June 6th! It will be good to do something that feels a little normal!

Thank you,

Bob Otty

Underhill - Sporting Clays

SPORTING CLAY SHOOTERS

Is everyone eager to get out of the house and crush targets? Come out to Underhill Rod and Gun on Tuesday, 5/19, and enjoy a round or two of sporting clays! We have 16 stations open so that you can get back into shooting shape for the upcoming season!

Hours are 1:00 PM til 6:00 PM, last squad out at 4:30 PM.

Given the ongoing Coronavirus issue, we ask that shooters adhere to the Governor's social distancing request. We ask that you limit squad size to four shooters. Face masks are at the discretion of the shooter, but we request you wear them unless shooting. Alcohol wipes will be available on each field for you to disinfect the transmitter when you are complete in each field.

Please practice social distancing in the clubhouse and the vicinity of the club.

We're all volunteers manning the club and running the course, and we have new faces helping out this year, so if there are any problems, please be patient while we solve issues.

While on the course, if you encounter a problem with a machine malfunctioning or breaking targets, or any other problem, please refrain from continually attempting to throw targets until good ones appear and move on to the next station. In that case, please inform club management so that we can correct the issue.

Please limit your show pairs to 2. The weekly shoots are not registered and are not a competition, so please help us with our expenses so that we can continue to serve you and improve our capabilities while charging very reasonable rates.

With that all, please show up and have FUN!

Bull's Eye

Hi Everyone,

After much discussion and consideration we've decided to postpone the first Bull's Eye Shoot scheduled for May 30th.  Dave and I will continue to work through logistics as well as what June 1st may bring for changes per our governor.   We will look to find a slot to reschedule this shoot later this summer.

Bull's Eye is open to shooting during the normal business days of Tuesday - Saturday but please make sure you reach out to Dave before just showing up.  They welcome small groups of people but want to be able to coordinate appropriately.  You can reach him via email at bullseyesportingcenter@gmail.com or cell at 802-279-8198.

Regards,

Christy

Vermont allows for some out of state travel non-resident (Jun 8)

OUT-OF-STATE TRAVEL In addition to changes in dining regulations, Vermont is taking its first step toward reopening out-of-state travel. State residents and residents of neighboring states will be allowed to participate in some recreational travel across state borders without observing a 14-day quarantine beginning on Monday. The changes will only apply to counties with less than 400 confirmed COVID-19 cases per 1 million residents. At the time of the announcement, that includes the North Country of New York and all but three counties in New Hampshire — Rockingham, Merrimack and Hillsborough.   This is a survey to enroll you in Sara Alert.
