NSCA Jun 6th 5-Stand Shoot

Good Evening Everyone,

I am sending a reminder tonight about our first NSCA registered shoot of the year.  In fact, it will be the first registered shoot of the year in Vermont!  We're a little over a week out from the June 6th shoot date.  We will shoot 100 targets on 2 fields, as we have at other events.  Targets and punches will be registered with NSCA, but you do not need to be an NSCA member or competitive shooter to participate.  Hunter class shooters are welcome.

Registration forms in both Word and PDF format are attached.  Because one of our primary points of contact during shoots is registration, we are asking that people preregister, including payment.  You can email to reserve your start time, but we ask that you mail payment within a week to confirm.  We will not process your payment until after the shoot, so if you are later unable to make it, we'll just shred your check.  Checks can be made out to "NCSC" and sent to me at:

Bob Otty
2105 Greenbush Rd.
North Ferrisburgh, VT 05473

We will also have staging areas designated for the day of the shoot to minimize congregating of large groups in any one area.  We are also considering scoresheet procedures.  We will keep everyone up to date if procedures change, but we will do what we can to keep everyone safe.  The rest will be up to you.  We should all be used to masks, social distancing, etc. by now.

Please let me know if you have any questions.  We hope to see you on June 6th!

Thank you,
Bob Otty

Vermont allows for some out of state travel non-resident (Jun 8)

OUT-OF-STATE TRAVEL In addition to changes in dining regulations, Vermont is taking its first step toward reopening out-of-state travel. State residents and residents of neighboring states will be allowed to participate in some recreational travel across state borders without observing a 14-day quarantine beginning on Monday. The changes will only apply to counties with less than 400 confirmed COVID-19 cases per 1 million residents. At the time of the announcement, that includes the North Country of New York and all but three counties in New Hampshire — Rockingham, Merrimack and Hillsborough.   This is a survey to enroll you in Sara Alert.
